An object becomes an object in the moment that we define its function.
The artistic practice of Lea Mugnaini (1992, Florence) examines and analyzes how structures and forms are the essential carrier of our felt environment.
She is interested in understanding the developing process of a form by shifting and decomposing their essential shapes and by questioning how human definitions alterate the substance of forms.
Moving between drawing, painting and sculpture, Lea´s work is an ensemble of a visual archetypal vocabulary within essential shapes.
In 2020 she co-founded the nomadic art residency an other here.
